Businessicy – Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan reiterated that the government’s role is to assist businesses in their growth and development. He aims for entrepreneurs to continue advancing and contribute to Indonesia’s economic growth.
This was emphasized during his working visit to Lampung on Friday, August 9, 2024, particularly during his visit to the refined sugar producer PT Sugar Labinta in South Lampung.
“The government’s job is to support companies in their development. When companies thrive, they create more jobs and increase tax payments. Supporting entrepreneurs is a government responsibility. We want businesses to continue growing and advancing the economy,” said the Minister in an official statement released by the Ministry of Trade on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
On the other hand, he hopes that employees will continue to improve their performance and teamwork. The Minister believes that synergy between entrepreneurs and employees will lead to continued growth and development of the company.
“I also hope employees will maintain their cohesion. The key is cooperation. The government supports this. Companies need to work hard and effectively, and employees need to work together more closely,” he urged.
“If this happens, the company can grow and advance even further,” emphasized the Minister.
PT Sugar Labinta is a refined crystal sugar producer in Lampung. The company began construction in 2005 and commenced operations in 2008. Covering an area of 22 hectares, the company employs 483 staff members and has a production capacity of approximately 2,000 tons of sugar per day.
