Businessicy – PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) is dedicated to enhancing financial access for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia through various credit guarantee services. The objective of this initiative is to facilitate MSMEs in obtaining financing from financial institutions. In the first half of 2024, Jamkrindo reported a guarantee volume of IDR 148.36 trillion, covering 3.89 million MSMEs as guaranteed debtors. Akhmad Purwakajaya, President Director of Jamkrindo, explained that the company’s role as a guarantor is to bridge the gap for MSMEs with viable business prospects but lacking access to banking capital.
“With Jamkrindo’s credit guarantees, viable MSMEs that are currently unbankable can secure loans from financial institutions, thereby enhancing their business capacity. This positively impacts financial inclusion and the national economy,” Akhmad stated during a Media Gathering event in Magelang, Central Java, on Sunday (August 25, 2024).
Beyond credit guarantees, Jamkrindo also focuses on empowering MSMEs through training and mentoring programs. These programs are design to boost MSME productivity, help them advance, and expand their market reach.
Training includes coaching clinics for MSMEs, product photography workshops, social media optimization for businesses, legal aspects of business, and various business classes. To assist MSMEs in broadening their market presence, Jamkrindo also involves them in national and international exhibitions in countries such as Malaysia, Korea, Turkey, and the Netherlands.
“Participation in these exhibitions offers significant opportunities for MSMEs to expand their market access,” Akhmad added.

At the Media Gathering in Magelang, Jamkrindo also provided social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) support by offering business support facilities to its partners, including the Honey Bee Farmers Group, Sumber Nektar. One member, Joko Sadono, shared that thanks to Jamkrindo’s guidance and the PUMK (Micro and Small Business Funding) program, his business has thrived despite the setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of its commitment to sustainable development goals (SDGs), Jamkrindo continues to implement TJSL programs across various regions in Indonesia, such as Garut, Geopark Ciletuh, Kintamani, and Larantuka. These initiatives are design to promote economic equity and improve community welfare.
“We consistently apply the principle of creating shared value (CSV), which integrates economic and social value creation to benefit a broader community,” said Akhmad.
